Fidel has been in the restaurant business for forty years and prides himself in serving others. Previously to opening Los Tacos, he was the maitre d’ at Maldonado’s Supper Club, a four star restaurant in Pasadena where he developed a palate for fine foods and wines. After the birth of his first daughter, Diana, Fidel decided to open Los Tacos restaurant where he fused his knowledge of fine foods and the traditional recipes he learned from his parents and memories of his childhood in Mexico. For several years, Fidel was on a mission to explore and develop recipes and shortly after the birth of his second daughter, Audrey, Los Tacos opened its doors at 1 West California Blvd in Pasadena.
Los Tacos has been featured in numerous magazine and newspaper articles; and, has been active in supporting sports teams in the area as well as various private charities. Its clean and authentic dishes have been enjoyed by several generations in the Pasadena area. Fidel continues to oversee the daily operations of the restaurants and is assisted by his brother and general manager, Antonio Leos. Fidel works hard to maintain a level of excellence at Los Tacos restaurants and is passing down his knowledge and love of food and service to his daughters Diana, Audrey and Amy Leos.
